Teaching Law, Testing Ideas, Obama Stood Apart
The New York Times featured an interesting piece today surrounding Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama’s fellowship at the University of Chicago’s law school. At Chicago, Obama taught for 12 years, breaking from the traditional mold in nearly every possible way and asserting an enigmatic status within the gates of the prestigious university. Of special interest is the retrospection of a former student, who considers Obama’s teaching career a testing ground for the ideas that are fueling the pistons of his campaign.
