Great Universities Unleashed

web 2.0

Tech-savvy educators finding each other on classroom 2.0

Educators and edubloggers with a flare for web 2.0 have found a professional and collegial community, aptly called “Classroom 2.0.” Founded by Steve Hargadon, a prominent edublogger and director of the K12 Open Technologies Project for CoSN, Classroom 2.0 is a tremendous resource for anyone interested in applying “web 2.0 and collaborative technologies” towards education. I found their resources wiki, which is accessible to all, both interesting and potentially useful. Classroom 2.0 is growing rapidly and has already surpassed 10,000 members. I encourage you to visit Classroom 2.0 as well as Steve Hargadon’s blog which frequently provides intelligent commentary on the confluence of education and technology.
