Education

Originally from Maryland he stayed close to home for college attending the University of Maryland. While there an epiphany named “Chemistry 113” ushered him away from aspirations to be a doctor and into a contemporary moral issues class, thus sparking his interest in philosophy. Before graduating with a BA in philosophy he took a year to study in London where he was introduced to existentialism, butter on cold cut sandwiches, and never ending rain. Deciding to pursue graduate school at San Diego State University he worked as a tutor and mentor with the Upward Bound Program, fell in love with Frisbee Golf (the greatest sport ever!), and enjoyed best weather on the planet. While at SDSU he served as a Teaching Assistant and Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Ethics. He recently graduated from San Diego State University with an MA in philosophy with a concentration in existentialist ethics (yes existentialist can be ethical, despite what Nietzsche writes).
